OpenShift Administrator

Working as an OpenShift Administrator you will:

  • Handle the day-to-day deployment and configuration of applications utilizing Helm charts, Operators, templates, and manifests.

  • Oversee namespaces and project environments, taking charge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), resource allocations, and quotas.

  • Set up and manage application network routing, external connectivity, TLS configurations, Services, and load balancers.

  • Ensure robust application security by implementing Network Policies, PodSecurity, Security Context Constraints (SCC), and handling secret rotations.

  • Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, scale resources efficiently, and configure custom dashboards alongside alerting mechanisms.

  • Deliver advanced 2nd and 3rd tier technical support to development teams, resolving complex issues through log investigation, rollbacks, and pod restarts.

  • Champion GitOps methodologies while actively generating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven commercial experience in administrating containerized platforms, specifically OpenShift or Kubernetes.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of application deployment tools, including Helm and Kubernetes Operators.

  • Solid understanding of container networking concepts (routing, load balancing, external exposure, and TLS).

  • Practical knowledge of implementing security standards such as SCC, RBAC, and Network Policies.

  • Experience with monitoring, alerting systems, and performance tuning for containerized applications.

  • Familiarity with GitOps practices and a proactive approach to automation.

  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of providing effective L2/L3 support and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

  • Excellent English skills (at least B2+ level).
