Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer

Working as a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's overarching cyber defense infrastructure, ensuring smooth configuration and operation of security tools.

• Actively monitor security environments, responding promptly to system alerts and events, while diagnosing and resolving complex technical faults.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT and network engineering teams to translate high-level security needs into precise technical requirements and robust solutions.

• Apply and manage system patches to effectively mitigate technical vulnerabilities across various products.

• Provide comprehensive support across various security technologies, including cloud security, data loss protection (DLP), antivirus, user access, and internet filtering.

• Ensure all managed security components meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee continuous operational stability.

• Regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and draft technical documentation for all deployed cyber defense components.

• Participate actively in detailed information security audits and reviews to evaluate and recommend enhancements for existing security measures.

Our client is a large international public-sector organization operating in a highly regulated and security-focused environment. The organization is responsible for coordinating complex operations, ensuring operational resilience, and maintaining continuity of critical services across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions. • Engineering degree in a relevant technological field.

• Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years directly in a similar cybersecurity role.

• Language proficiency: English at B2 level and Polish at C1 level.

• Hands-on operational experience with PKI systems and deploying Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

• Proven background in maintaining and operating security monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, or Darktrace.

• Practical expertise in risk-based vulnerability management (utilizing tools like Tenable) and coordinating penetration testing.

• Experience performing application security assessments using CheckMarx SAST and DAST.

• Ability to implement security controls aligned with Zero Trust Architecture principles.

• Solid understanding of essential network protocols (e.g., DNS, LDAP, SMTP, PKI/CA) and operating system defenses.

• Familiarity with major industry frameworks, including the ISO 27000 series, SANS CIS critical controls, and OWASP standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to document, report, and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.

• Possession of at least 3 internationally recognized certifications from the following list (or valid equivalents accepted by the client): GCED, GPPA, GCWN, GCUX, GCCC, SSCP, CCSP, CISSP, CSSLP, GSEC, ECSA, SCPO.

• Rate up to 220,00 PLN/h + VAT
