Jira Administrator (Certification Required)

Working as a Jira Administrator you will:

  • Manage and maintain Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Confluence platforms daily.

  • Design and set up tailored workflows, custom fields, screen schemes, and permission structures.

  • Translate business needs into practical system configurations and automations.

  • Integrate Atlassian tools using REST APIs and oversee key marketplace applications like ScriptRunner and Tempo Timesheets.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and deliver ongoing, independent technical support for corporate end-users.

Qualifications

Must-have requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of practical background in administering Jira environments.
  • Jira Cloud administration certification validating your technical expertise.
  • Proven track record in tailoring workflows, screens, permissions, and automations to business needs.
  • Solid experience in managing Confluence and Jira Service Management.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs for seamless system integrations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of popular marketplace plugins, specifically ScriptRunner and Tempo Timesheets.
  • Strong analytical mindset capable of turning business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent English for smooth daily communication.
  • Prior experience assisting end-users within a corporate landscape.

 

Nice-to-have requirements:

  • Exposure to portfolio management tools such as BigPicture, Advanced Roadmaps, Structure, or Tempo Planning.

  • Participation in Atlassian Cloud Migration initiatives.

  • Understanding of Atlassian Analytics and advanced reporting setups.

  • Knowledge of SSO configuration and identity management platforms like Okta.

  • Experience in enterprise environments managing instances for over 1,000 users across global or regional units.

  • Grasp of change and release management frameworks.

  • Background in SLA-driven support for business-critical applications.

  • Awareness of GDPR, access governance, and information security standards.
