SharePoint Administrator

Working as a SharePoint Administrator you will:

  • Manage and develop complex SharePoint farms across diverse environments, including production, testing, and development within both intranet and extranet networks.

  • Oversee the administration of SharePoint Online services to ensure seamless cloud collaboration.

  • Execute maintenance tasks such as patch management, system tuning, and strategic capacity planning to ensure high performance.

  • Provide 2nd line support by analyzing and resolving technical incidents and service requests.

  • Maintain the underlying infrastructure, including IIS-based applications, SharePoint databases, and robust backup procedures.

  • Implement and utilize monitoring and reporting tools like SCOM and web analytics to track system health.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SharePoint with Active Directory, IAM, MS SQL, and load-balancing solutions.

  • Work alongside development teams to align configurations with project requirements and support new deployments.

  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation, technical specifications, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administering SharePoint Server (on-premises) and SharePoint Online.

  • Strong technical knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, and MS SQL Server administration.

  • Experience in patching, performance optimization, and disaster recovery planning for SharePoint environments.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SCOM and reporting software.

  • Understanding of core infrastructure services including AD, ADFS, and Load Balancing.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex incidents within a 2nd line support framework.

  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with developers and other infrastructure specialists.

  • Strong focus on creating and maintaining clear technical documentation.

  • English at least at B2+ level.
