Manual QA Engineer (Embedded & Python)

Working as a Manual QA Engineer, you will:

  • Prepare and execute manual test cases for embedded and connected healthcare solutions.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

  • Verify new features and changes against defined requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Test interactions between embedded devices, applications, and other system components.

  • Identify, reproduce, and clearly document software defects.

  • Analyse test results and basic technical logs to support issue investigation.

  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases and test reports.

  • Work closely with developers and other QA team members to investigate issues and verify fixes.

  • Support the team in maintaining good test coverage and continuously improving testing processes.

  • Use Python when needed to support testing activities, analyse data, or perform simple testing-related tasks.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of commercial experience in software testing / quality assurance.

  • Practical experience with manual software testing, including functional and regression testing.

  • Previous experience testing embedded systems, connected devices, or IoT solutions.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python and willingness to use it in day-to-day testing activities.

  • Good understanding of software testing principles and test case design.

  • Experience reporting and tracking defects using tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.

  • Ability to analyse problems, reproduce issues, and communicate findings clearly to developers.

  • Familiarity with the software development and testing lifecycle.

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a technical team.

  • Good command of English and fluent Polish, both written and spoken.
